Breast Reconstruction

I underwent treatment for breast cancer in 2019 and had been in pain for six years due to extensive nerve damage following radiotherapy. I thought the chronic pain and restricted shoulder movement I was suffering was for life. I was then referred to Mr Kalu who informed me, in his kind and reassuring way, that he could help me and my life changed! I had a mastectomy to remove the damaged tissue and DIEP reconstruction and I am so happy with the outcome. For the first time in six years, I have hope and am not fearing my future.
