Procedures
We offer the following plastic, reconstructive and cosmetic procedures:

Breast Reconstruction
Choosing to undergo breast reconstruction surgery after a cancer diagnosis is a personal decision that can depend on your own individual circumstances and preferences.
Breast Augmentation (Enlargement)
Breast enlargement is often sought after by patients who feel that their breasts are too small, or one is smaller than the other.
Breast Reduction
If you feel self-conscious about the size of your breasts or they are causing you to experience back and shoulder pain, breast reduction surgery can help reduce their size, lift them, and raise and resize the nipple and areola.
Breast Implant Exchange or Removal and Capsulectomy
A capsulectomy is a procedure to remove the firm scar tissue that forms around your breast implants.
Breast Uplift (Mastopexy)
A mastopexy, commonly known as a breast uplift, addresses the issue of droopy breasts, removing the extra skin and helping them to appear more youthful.
Breast Lipomodelling
Breast Lipomodelling is the injection of autologous (your own) fat into the breast to improve its appearance or increase its volume.
Gynaecomastia Surgery (male breast reduction)
Gynaecomastia, the swelling of male breast tissue to a larger than normal size, can be caused by numerous conditions such as a hormone imbalance or obesity.
Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck)
An abdominoplasty, commonly known as a tummy tuck, will tighten and shape your stomach area, removing excess hanging skin, fat and stretch marks.
Brachioplasty (Arm reduction)
Brachioplasty – an arm lift to reshape your upper arm – can help remove sagging skin and fat to provide a toned appearance.
Skin Cancer Surgery
As with any cancer, skin cancer may require surgery to remove the cancerous growth.
Pinnaplasty (Ear pinning surgery)
If you feel your ears are too prominent, ear pinning surgery, or pinnaplasty, is an effective way to reshape your ears.
Liposuction
Liposuction removes unwanted fat deposits using suction on common areas such as the thighs, stomach, arms and neck.
Excision of Skin Lesion
Skin lesions are areas of skin that are different from the surrounding skin, such as lumps and sores. In some cases, they can indicate skin cancer.
Nipple Reconstruction
Nipple reconstruction is usually carried out at a later stage of your breast reconstruction journey.
Carpal Tunnel Release
If non-surgical treatments for your carpal tunnel syndrome have been unsuccessful, then carpal tunnel release surgery may be an option to consider.
Mole Removal
Most moles are harmless but can be easily removed if you are troubled by their appearance. Some moles, however, can be a sign of melanoma (skin cancer), especially if they have changed colour, shape, start itching, crusting, flaking or bleeding, or have grown in size.
Skin Assessment Clinic
If you have any problematic or concerning moles and skin lesions, we offer a head to toe skin assessment check for your peace of mind.
Scar Revision
Scar revision surgery aims to reduce the prominent appearance of a scar so it blends in with the surrounding skin.
Post Bariatric Surgery (Body Contouring)
Body contouring after weight loss can reshape an area of the body in a natural way, removing extra skin and eliminating excess fat where diet and exercise are not making a difference.
Fat Grafting (Lipomodelling)
Fat grafting is where fat is moved from one part of the body to the other, commonly from the thighs or abdomen where there may be excess weight.
Thigh Lift
For a smoother and firmer shape, a surgical thigh lift removes excess skin and fat that cannot be achieved by exercise.
Labiaplasty
A labiaplasty can be performed if you are suffering from discomfort due to excess labial tissue.
What to expect
Undergoing any type of surgery is a personal experience that differs from one person to the next. At PK Plastic Surgery we listen to what you hope to achieve from surgery and make recommendations tailored to you.
1 Pre-Consultation
We expect you to have some queries before you book in for your first consultation. Please call or email us so we can talk you through what to expect. Including the cost of the consultation if you are funding your treatment yourself.
If you are ready to make an appointment, we will take some contact details from you and the reason you would like to see Mr Kalu.
If you are an insured patient, you will need to have your membership number and the authorisation code to hand. Please speak to your insurer if you do not have these details.
2 Consultation
All patients are required to have a consultation before their procedure as you will need to undergo a full health assessment with Mr Kalu before any surgery can be booked. It it also essential that you understand the risks of any planned procedure and the alternative options available to you. The consultation is a chance for you to ask questions and have one-on-one time with the surgeon before you decide to proceed.
3 Surgery
Once you have decided you would like to go ahead with your procedure, we will discuss available surgery dates with you and reserve your preferred choice. For general anaesthetic procedures, you will be required to have a pre-operative assessment with the hospital’s nursing team. Some patients may also need to have diagnostic tests, such as scans, and a pre-operative appointment with Mr Kalu. At any point between deciding to have surgery and undergoing the procedure, please do not hesitate to ask any questions you may have.
4 Recovery
After your surgery it is important to give your body time to recover. We will let you know how to care for yourself in the post-operative period and what activities you will be able to undertake.
